We do it like the Weather Girls song: no matter if it’s drizzling or pouring, rain is no reason for a gray mood. There is fun aplenty for guests both big and small.

Summer and winter are peak seasons at the Arlberg. But fall is our secret.

Admittedly, the title could be about the best schnapps in the area. So before we dismiss, let's get straight to the real topic: the tried and tested activity of hiking. Along the crystal-clear Lech.

The Burg Golf Trophy is our absolute favorite! The word continues to spread about this must-do summer event. Truthfully, we can say there aren’t many that compare to our region’s epic golf courses.

While it still takes a wee bit of effort, our region can be extensively explored by e-bike in an easy and wonderful way. E-biking is accessible to everyone without extra training. It also helps nature when the car stays at home.

The moment the snow melts, Arlberg shows its most colorful side. The meadows are bursting with green, flowers and herbs are sprouting everywhere. It makes you want to capture every moment.

When the cities are already stifling in the summer heat, the mountains tend to keep their pleasant temperatures. But there comes a time when things also heat up here in Oberlech. And especially when you put your fitness to the test on a hike! Luckily, there are so many picturesque lakes nearby that you will always find a way to cool down.

You have choices: live close to the Burg, but be the master of your realm. Live independently and never do laundry. Cook for yourself or dine in the Lechtaler Stube next door. And, it’s just a few steps to the spa. Our four Burg Chalet apartments offer 48 to 60 sqm and are a great option for guests who want more privacy and a longer stay.

The most rustic place in the Burg is the Burg Tavern aka “Fondue Parlor”. And who makes this place worth visiting? Simple … hostess Helga!

Sure, there are many beautiful ski resorts. But let’s be honest, which one rivals the Arlberg in terms of snow quality and spectacular descents?

“My tip for serious skiers is Der Weiße Ring,” says Burg host Christian. “In winter, I enjoy skiing part of the tour as a morning route with friends. From Lech via Rüfikopf, Zürs and the notorious Madloch to Zug. If I can finish the morning with ham and eggs on the Kriegeralpe, this kicks off the perfect day.”

If you love your children but sometimes want peace and quiet to enjoy a drink, you’ve come to the right place.
Children who find their parents a bit boring are also in good hands. We offer them space and activities completely separate from the adults.

“My personal favorite tour is the trail to Mohnenfluh,” says Patricia Lucian, hostess at the Burg. “You can start right outside our front door, and a few hours later, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Lechtal Alps.”
